I was born in 1955 and raised in McAlester, OK. My parents owned a Best Western motel and restaurant there and I grew up working as a bell hop, dishwasher, bus boy, groundskeeper, pool attendant, etc. When I wasn’t doing that I played in the marching band at McAlester High School and was active in the youth program and choirs at the First Baptist Church, where my father was a deacon.
During my junior year of high school my parents sold the motel and started a recreational vehicle dealership, where I worked while finishing school and for a few years after graduating from Oklahoma State University.
In 1987 I moved to Tulsa and got into the investment and insurance business, acquiring my series 6, 7, 24, 63 & 65 licenses. I met my wife, Pam, shortly after moving to Tulsa and in December of 1991 we were married. We now have two wonderful grown daughters and two awesome grandchildren. We lived in Bixby, Oklahoma until December of 2016, when we moved to Collinsville, Oklahoma. We attend church at the First Baptist Church of Owasso. My hobbies include gardening, fishing (not often enough), watching sports and spending time with my family.
I am blessed to be affiliated with Chestnut Street Advisors, where we work as a team to help our clients pursue their financial goals and strive to help make their dreams a reality. My focus is designing and implementing retirement income portfolios designed to help our clients feel confident in their financial future and enjoy their retirement years.
